Supreme Court Field Trip Transportation Grants

The grant application period for the 2024-2025 school year is now CLOSED. We are unable to accept any additional applications. Transportation grant recipients who will receive a grant for this current school year will be notified by mid-October.

Our next grant-funding period will open again next year and educators who were on the list this year will remain on the list and automatically be notified. If you are an educator and wish to be added to the transportation grant list and receive notifications when the grant application window opens, please email us at: CourtTours@sc.ohio.gov or call 614.387.9223 to have your name added.

NOTE: Transportation grants are awarded based on the percentage of students enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program as reported by the Ohio Department of Education. Schools are reimbursed after the field trip.

The Supreme Court of Ohio provides school transportation grants to help defray the cost of a visit to the Supreme Court and its Visitor Education Center.

The online application window typically is open during early fall. All Ohio schools receiving state funds are welcome to apply for a grant ranging from $200 to $500, based on the distance from the school to the Moyer Judicial Center.

Grants are awarded based on the percentage of students enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program as reported by the Ohio Department of Education. Schools are reimbursed after the field trip.
